Jennifer Clarke: Manager, Strategy & Experience
Jennifer loves spontaneity—but does her husband?
Originally a designer, one day Jennifer happened upon the job title “Information Architect” and thought it sounded much, much cooler. Cue career change. Seriously though, Jennifer loved (loves) design but found strategy and planning to be a more fascinating world. Her 10 years pre-Thrillworks were spent doing production and design work in the magazine industry as well as interactive project management, where she quickly became a whiz at stuff like digital advertising, microsites, e-blasts, newsletters and social media. (Yes, our clients appreciate having someone who’s a whiz at stuff like that working their account.)
Career highlights? An Innovation Award for digital media; and—this next highlight may or may not eclipse the former, depending on your world view—Fashion Week in Toronto, where Jennifer was a production manager on a film crew with an All Access Media Pass! Other, away-from-work interests? Playing in the park with her daughter and surprising her husband with “spontaneous interior design.” What Jennifer’s husband thinks about these surprises (comes home to newly painted room; comes home to 50 handmade pillow covers) is not fully known.
