What the heck is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It has the word "simple" in it so it must be easy, right?
For people with attention spans as short as ours, RSS feeds are a real time saver. Rather than constantly going to a million websites you regularly visit to see if there's new content, any updates from those sites will be sent directly to you when you have subscribed to their RSS feeds. Then you only need to check one place to see all the new content from any of your favourite sites. You can unsubscribe from any RSS feed easily any time.
